I asked My only daughter what she wanted me to paint for her. She thought about it for a moment then hesitantly said, “trees”. Trees are trees, I thought so I have to do something special for my little girl. I wanted to send a subliminal message of the importance of family ties, represented by the long reaching roots of the trees, ( hence the title). The feeding birds are to remind her of the sweet nectar of family bonding, and finally, I wanted her to know that she was the center of my universe and the keeper of my heart, so right in the middle I placed something very special. can you see it? If you have a daughter, or son for that matter and want to pass that same sentiment on to them, here is a lovely way to start talking family “Root”.
